Joy in Sorrow Groves is about the different ways we hurt: physical, soul, mental, and the questions we ask when we go through them. We are always looking for answers, for ways to heal. But often, healing comes in ways we dont expect. And we will find joy growing as we befriend grief in a garden of erotemes. This is the 1st song in the LP, A Side of Grief.

Verse 1
There's a sickness
Buried in her bones
Takes away her life
Takes away control
Leaves her out of breath
And all out of hope
Verse 2
Now there's a sickness
Buried in his soul
Stabs him like a knife
Numbed with alcohol
He knows another sip
And he's bound to fall
Pre-chorus:
We hope for a cure be found
Some we find, some we don't
Some answers we're not meant to know
Chorus:
Why there's a healing that comes
When the wounds bloom to scars
A single word breaks
Stubborn heartaches
And a healing that grows
In a bed of I-don't-knows
Where erotemes fill
Gardens in fields
of joy in sorrow groves
Verse 3
Now there's a sickness
Doesn't always show
It's hidden in the eyes
Colorful disguise
Darker than clouds
That won't seem to go
Pre-chorus
Chorus
Bridge:
In the fragments, we're found whole
In the questions, love won't grow cold
In the fragments, we're found whole
In the questions, will we know?
Chorus:
Why there's a healing that comes
When the wounds bloom to scars
A single word breaks
Stubborn heartaches
And a healing that grows
In a bed of I-don't-knows
Where erotemes fill
Gardens in fields
Chorus:
Why there's a healing that comes
When the wounds bloom to scars
A single word breaks
Stubborn heartaches
And a healing that grows
In a bed of I-don't-knows
Where erotemes fill
Gardens in fields
of joy in sorrow groves
Outro:
Hope we find
Joy in sorrow groves
Hope we find
Joy in sorrow groves
