The Song
Story.
Hymn in the Valley is inspired by Psalm 55. The gentle acoustic song starts hopes to bring you comfort as it reminds us that as death draws near, there may be fear, but Peace is here. Lyrics.
Oh heart, be still
Come and find your rest
Come and find your rest
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Overwhelmed
Sometimes troubles come
Sometimes troubles come
They won’t make a sound
They won’t make a sound
Instrumental
Watch your back
Death’s a breath away
Death’s a breath away
Can you smell the grave?
Can you smell the grave?
Where is peace?
Feels so out of reach
Feels so out of reach
But He’ll be here to stay
He’ll be here to stay
Instrumental
Say your prayers
Morning, noon and night
Morning, noon and night
Till it breaks the proud
Till it breaks the proud
Oh heart, be still
Come and find your rest
Come and find your rest
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Lay your burdens down
Instrumental
